We Built the Platform
We Wished Existed.

Groom was built by Azality Inc. in collaboration with barbershop owners who were tired of running their businesses on gut feeling, disconnected tools, and end-of-week guesswork.

We didn't adapt a salon software. We didn't strip down an enterprise platform. We started with a blank page and a simple question: what would a barbershop look like if it had the same financial and operational intelligence as a Fortune 500 company?

The answer is Groom.

OUR MISSION
"Every barbershop owner deserves the data, the tools, and the intelligence to run their business with the same confidence as the world's best-run companies."

Built for the owner who runs it like a business.

Not for the solo barber who needs a booking link. Not for the spa chain with 200 locations. Groom is built for the barbershop owner who is serious about growth — who has 2–15 chairs, consistent client volume, and a real ambition to build something that lasts.

If you're frustrated by tools that show you how many appointments you had but can't tell you why Tuesday was slow, which barber is underperforming, or which clients are about to leave — Groom was built for you.

OUR STORY

Why we built Groom.

Born in a Barber's Chair

In early 2025, our founder walked into a barbershop in Mississauga, Ontario — not for a meeting, not for research, but for a haircut.

What he found instead was a story playing out in thousands of barbershops across the country.

Joel, the owner of Barbershol, was in the middle of everything. Between clients, he was punching tip amounts into a calculator by hand. On the counter sat a worn envelope stuffed with gift cards — each one labelled with a customer's name in marker. His phone buzzed with messages from his "website guy," his "social media guy," and his "finance guy" — a patchwork of contractors held together by sheer will and too many group chats.

Groom wasn't born in a lab or a startup accelerator. It was born in a barber's chair, from a real conversation, in a real shop, solving a real problem.
